Some features at our B&B to make your stay enjoyable

curlew-cottage-entryStep inside our charming, old style, country home situated on a quarter acre of gardens. Take the time to smell the roses, listen to the birds, relax and re-charge your batteries.

On your day of arrival I will text you to see if you want me to reserve a table at one of our pubs or clubs for dinner. If you are delayed as sometimes happens, just let me know your estimated time of arrival and you won’t have to let yourself in!

You can check in any time after 2:00 pm and checkout is 11:00 am, but please feel free to make use of the shared areas indoors and out, if you plan a later departure from the Dungog area.

Coffee or tea lover – we cater for all tastes, espresso machine, filter, premium instant and decaffeinated, plunger, a selection of teas including herbal and loose leaf, indulge with a pot!

In the living room there is a guest fridge with milk provided and to chill your beverages. As well as a selection of DVDs, you will find playing cards, games and books.

If you choose to stay in for dinner during your stay, you can barbecue on the back verandah and use the crockery, cutlery and condiments provided and dine alfresco in the warmer months or in the heated dining room.

At the back of the garden is another deck with table and chairs, certainly a quiet spot to read your book . CurlewCottage-spagazebo

If you do feel like an active break, talk to us about the best walks here in town at the Common or in the Barrington Tops. We have mountain bikes, a road cruiser and tandem for you to hire. If golf is more your style, we have three sets of golf clubs for you to borrow and you can tee off at the 9 hole course, just south of town.
